BEAU BRATCHER might best be described as a professional student, having received undergraduate degrees from Grayson College, Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and Texas Woman's University as well as graduate degrees from the University of Texas at El Paso and the University of New Orleans. He owes many thanks to the NOLA Project for allowing him to put all that education into practice and giving him something else to do besides going to school, that is. Thanks also go to David Hoover, who brought him to New Orleans, without whom, Beau might not have stumbled upon the wonderful place that is New Orleans. He has been a resident of New Orleans since 2007, and looks forward to many more great years here. In his time with Theatre UNO, Beau directed Much Ado About Nothing, Weïrd and Jared Gore’s My Name is Chainsaw. Beau’s credits also include Big Easy and Storer Boone nominated The Night of the Iguana for Theatre UNO and the Tennessee Williams Festival and Big Easy Award winning Is He Dead? for the NOLA Project and Theatre UNO. When not working with the project, Beau teaches at the University of New Orleans and works with Southern Rep. He is proud to finally be found worthy and looks forward to many, many years of working with the NOLA Project.
