Gabrielle Reisman

Gabrielle wrote Taste for The NOLA Project in 2009 and serves as head writer for the upcoming web series of the same name. Currently an MFA Playwriting candidate at The University of Texas at Austin, she has worked in New Orleans as a writer, director, street poet, backyard restaurateur and arts educator. Founder of The Alamo Underground, Gabrielle currently produces Potluck, an annual festival of new work by New Orleans artists. Her plays have been produced in New York, New Orleans, Champaign, Chicago and Austin and have been translated into German. Her first four full lengths are published in the 2007 anthology More Pepper by Hot Lead Press. Selected monologues from Brian and Shevat are published by Simon and Schuster.
