Jason Kirkpatrick

Jason Kirkpatrick Teaches Movement and Period Style at NOCCA. He has a BA in Drama Communications from The University of New Orleans. Originally from Oklahoma he has been in New Orleans for 13 years. Jason Started his Professional acting career at The Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival where he spent four summers there before doing three National Tours with Repertory Theatre Of America, I Ought To Be in Pictures, The Drunkard and Murder by The book then Working at The Roxie Regional Theatre in a production of the Grapes of Wrath, Before Moving to New Orleans in 1998. Jason was a scenic artist and designer for Le Petit and an entertainment Manager and designer for Six Flags New Orleans. He has been seen on New Orleans Stages at , Southern Rep, JPAS, Tulane Shakespeare Festival, Harrah’s Casino, Rivertown Rep, NOCCA Stage Co. Insideout Productions and the NOLA Project. He recieved the 2009 big Easy, Storer boon, and Marquee awards for Best Supporting Actor in Insideout’s Produciton of Coyote on a Fence. He was last seen In the NOLA Project’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Almost an Evening, JPAS’s Sound of Music and A Christmas Story, and Southern Repertory Theatre’s In The Next Room. He is Also a founding member of the NOCCA Stage Co. and was in their inaugural production of True West, and Directed To Kill a Mockingbird in 2010.
