Kristin Witterschein

Originally from New Jersey, Kristin moved to New Orleans in October 2009 and loves living down in The Big Easy. She graduated from New York University and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in 2007, after which she spent the next two years living it up in NYC (and Brooklyn!). Her first production with The NOLA Project was Mr. Marmalade (Sunflower, Sookie, Emily), followed by Taste (Jeanette), Almost An Evening (Young Woman), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Hermia), Is He Dead? (Marie Leroux), and most recently Romeo and Juliet (Juliet). Other New Orleans credits include: Grey Gardens (Young Little Edie) and as Julia Sullivan in The Wedding Singer (Big Easy Theater Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical). Favorite past roles include the Rabbi in Angels in America: Part I and Hannah Pitt in Angels in America: Part II at the Stella Adler Studio. Kristin has studied Shakespeare at the McCarter Theater in Princeton, NJ, and holds a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. |
